fried butter

last time i went to welly, i didn't think i would find any food fattier than fried cheesecake.

today i did: fried butter balls.

seriously, what has the world come to?

i couldn't tell as the bus whizzed by whether tuesday nite was a meat raffle or meat waffle.

either way, i don't plan to attend.

bathroom enigmas

in the bathroom, a slow-walking, germaphobic, 2-armed, 2-handed student:
* turned the facet on and off with his elbow
* dispensed drying paper with his arm
* then bent down to get his jacket off the floor where it had been sitting while he finished his business.

cardinals and food

the cardinal in my birdfeeder sits in his food while eating. that's pretty dang disgusting.

hands

my right hand always knows what my left one is doing.... it just doesn't trust it.

holiday, observed
