had my first day at the theatre.
it was tedious.
by the end i had a headache, was light headed, runny nose and sore throat. my body realized i was getting a job and it broke down. can i call in sick tomorrow?

Sad! Maybe some extra buttery popcorn would cure you...congrats on the job. I hope your body recovers from the shock.
I hope they give you complimentary popcorn and free movies. That is what kept me working in such places. Do you get to wear a fancy uniform?

dobs- they have a chocolate vat (since we choc dip ice-cream cones)... much rather drink that.
ub- no freebees, but $1 movie and popcorn.... that's about as good an NZ does....
a- people comment because they can relate to being sick...
i have found that if you come to work reaaaaaaaally late, or even not at all, your boss will still be nice to you, send you lovely emails, and generally be awesome.
