i've been sick and spending all day at home.
a musician lives below me.
he spends all day practicing the same guitar riff.
did i mention it's the same riff.
he doesn't always get it right.
guitar murder is illegal here.

crazy bus man :: glasses case

on the bus, an unkempt man in army fatigue and a hat sat across from he.
he put his glasses in a red glasses case.

then his phone rang, and he pulled it out of an identical case.

i peered in his bag and saw at least 3 more identical red glasses cases.

cue freaky music.

aviary :: terminated

my time feeding milk goo to native birds is over.
i can now identify many birds by their call and colo*ring.

sadly, they all have populations of 1,000 or less... so this info will be of little practical value.

electronic renaissance

the next few weeks will be an electronic renaissance.
new projects are almost ready to be announced.
--which is why i also want to examine this blog.

i write blogs because i like the komments. i generally consider my friends ["major fan base"] to be creative and intelligent, or at least interesting. it's fun to hear from you.

so...
what sort of postings do you like to komment on?
why don't you komment?
what would encourage you to komment?

my goal [not always achieved] is to have new posts most work days. i know consistent posts are important and i've averaged 21.25 posts/month since NZ.

please add to the discussion [anonymous komments accepted] and take the poll [to the left] about the posts you like and don't care for.

i'm not going to pander, but if everyone seems to hate certain posts [food posts] i'll stop.... after just one more....

first :: stood up

today i was stood up for the first time. ever.
no email.
no text.
no call.
everything worked out since i had a book [amber spyglass]. quite enjoyed the unexpected time to myself.

but since my one friend has now become unreliable, it may be time for a second. i emailed a hammock importer i met at a party my plans for how he can bodyslam an elephant:

i've picked out my flight home.

but i'm afraid to buy it because a fare sale MUST be around the corner.
plus, it will cost $400 more to get home than it did to get here.
and if a different carrier takes me, i'd have enough miles for a free domestic flight.
